How is the information stored?

Once submitted, the information is encrypted and stored in a database. A link is randomly assigned to the information. When this link is accessed the information is decrypted, displayed to the recipient and then destroyed.

No, once a link has been accessed and the information displayed once, it is destroyed.

Do you keep any information once a link has been accessed?

Yes, we keep a note of when the information was accessed. If you generated the link while logged into your account, you can view this information from your dashboard.

Do you have an API?

Yes, account holders can access our API, free for most uses. Useful if you want to integrate SelfDestruct.Click into your service e.g. sending out one-time passwords or username reminders.
