One-time content
Your content is protected while it waits to be opened. When the link is successfully viewed, the content is removed from the server and cannot be retrieved through SelfDestruct.Click again.
Unopened links
Free links automatically expire after 30 days. Premium users can choose an expiry date and time, or keep an unopened link active until it is viewed or deleted. When an expired or deleted link is cleaned up, its secret content is removed.
Accounts
An account only needs an email address and password. We keep basic link information such as your label, creation time and link status so you can manage links without retaining viewed secret content. You can permanently delete your account from your dashboard.
Payments
SelfDestruct.Click is operated by CLJE Ltd. Premium payments are handled by our payment provider; payment card details are not stored by SelfDestruct.Click.
Security and abuse prevention
Limited technical information may be processed to keep the service reliable, prevent abuse and enforce sensible usage limits. We minimise this wherever practical and do not use secret content for advertising or profiling.
